DRM INSPECTED RAYAGADA, BOBBILI, VIZIANAGARAM STATIONS
The Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Saurabh Prasad, along with senior officials of the Division conducted inspections at various locations in Rayagada, Bobbili, Vizianagaram etc and reviewed the progress of various development activities. The inspection was focused to review and speedup the developmental activities of railway facilities and services.
DRM Shri Prasad conducted window trailing inspection from Visakhapatnam to Rayagada. During this inspection, DRM reviewed the track works, maintenance activities with special attention on crossovers, curves and bridges. On reaching Rayagada station he conducted thorough inspection of amenities at the Rayagada railway station, reviewed the progress of the various developmental activities, new station building works, third line works etc. Later he conducted thorough inspection of the Accident Relief Train at Rayagada, interacted with the team of employees engaged in the relief and rescue operations. A mock drill was also conducted at the ART. Further DRM inspected Running room to check various facilities available, interact with the inmates to take feedback and inputs for betterment.
After inspecting the Rayagda, the DRM proceeded to Bobbili station. Here, he checked various amenities and developmental activities underway at the station. His inspection involved assessing the condition and progress of infrastructure at the station, works of new station building, progress of the developmental activities, review of various works. He held discussions with engineering officials about the possible upgradation of facilities, suggesting a focus on improving the services and infrastructure at the railway station.
Further, DRM inspected Vizianagaram railway station. During this inspection, he assessed passenger amenities and facilities for public conveyance. Additionally, he inspected the new rail line works, expansion works etc. There were discussions with engineering officials about the possible upgradation of these facilities, suggesting a focus on improving the services and infrastructure at the railway station.
