Flyover at Hanumanthavaka…Sri Y.V. Subba Reddy.
Visakhapatnam: The busy junction at Hanumanthavaka in the city would have a flyover soon. The cost of the project would be Rs. 40 crore, said Sri Y.V. Subba Reddy Regional Coordinator North Andhra. He was speaking at the CREDAI Vizag’s EXPO here on Sunday. Asserting that his government is committed to all round development of the city he said that he was glad that the central government has selected one of the four cities in the country for it “a development hub. he had also referred to the need for green cover and said that the city has 35 per cent green cover now and the aim was to compete with Singapur which has 45 per cent green cover. To achieve this the cooperation of CREDAI Visakhapatnam Chapter is essential Sri Subba Reddy said and applauded the efforts of CREDAI Visakhapatnam Chapter for its commitment to provide houses to all.
President of CREDAI Visakhapatnam Chapter Sri Dharmender who presided over the meeting assured that the chapter would initiate all steps to ensure green cover.
Earlier GVMC Commissioner Sri Saikanth Varma said that efforts are on to ensure green cover on the terraces of housing projects. Open spaces would be developed as public parks and children parks, he said and asserted that the GVMC is committed to ensure a “Eco-Vizag”. He appealed to builders to set high standards of greenery in housing projects and promised all help from the GVMC in this aspect.
