Navy Day Wreath Laying Ceremony at Victory at Sea 1971 War Memorial
“As part of the ‘Navy Day 2024’, Eastern Naval Command (ENC) paid homage to service personnel on 04 Dec 24, who made the supreme sacrifice in various actions including the 1971 War.
A floral wreath was placed by Rear Admiral Chetan Chandegave, Flag Officer Submarines at the ‘Victory at Sea’ War Memorial in Visakhapatnam.
Wreaths were also placed by Shri MN Harendhira Prasad, District Collector; Shri Shankar Brata Bagchi, Commissioner of Police; Shri P Sampath Kumar, Commissioner of GVMC; Shri KS Viswanathan, Metropolitan Commissioner; Rear Admiral T Sudhakar, AVSM, NM, (Retd), Vice President Navy Foundation Vizag Chapter and Shri G Satyanandam, Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer.”
