తొలి రెండు రోజుల్లోనే 2 లక్షల మంది ….
మండల-మకరవిలక్కు పూజ
నేపథ్యంలో కేరళలోని శబరిమల అయ్యప్ప క్షేత్రా నికి భక్తులు పోటెత్తుతున్నారు. తొలి రెండు రోజుల్లో(సోమవారం, మంగళవారం) నే దాదాపు రెండు లక్షల మందికి పైగా భక్తులు శబరిమ లకు విచ్చేశారు. దీంతో ఆలయ ప్రాంగణం కిక్కి రిసిపోయింది. పంబ నుంచి సన్నిధానం మార్గం లోనూ విపరీత రద్దీ నెలకొంది. దర్శనం క్యూలైన్లో కుప్పకూలిపోయి ఓ మహిళ(58) మర ణించారు. భక్తుల సంఖ్య చాలా ఎక్కువగా ఉండ టంతో.. ట్రావెన్కోర్ దేవస్థానం బోర్డు (టీడీబీ) సిబ్బంది, పోలీసులకు రద్దీ నియంత్రణ తలకు మించిన భారంగా మారింది. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంలో ఇంత భారీ స్థాయిలో జనసమూహాన్ని తాను ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదని టీడీబీ అధ్యక్షుడు కె. జయకుమార్ తెలిపారు. బహుశా ఆలయ చరి త్రలోనే ఇదే అత్యధిక రద్దీ అనే వాదనలు వినిపి స్తున్నాయి. “కొంతమంది క్యూలైన్లను తప్పించు కుని వస్తున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది. దీన్ని కట్టడి చేసేం దుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నాం. రద్దీ నియంత్రణ కోసం నీలక్కల్, ఇతర ప్రదేశాల్లో భక్తులు ముందుకు కదలకుండా తాత్కాలికంగా ఆంక్షలు విధించాం. నీలక్కల్లో ఏడు అదనపు స్పాట్ బుకింగ్ కౌంటర్లను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తాం. శబరిమల ప్రవేశాన్ని రోజుకు లక్ష మందికి, స్పాట్ బుకింగ్ లను రోజుకు 20 వేల మందికి ఇస్తున్నారు

నగరంలోని వన్ టౌన్ బురుజుపేటలో కొలువై ఉన్న శ్రీ కనక మహాలక్ష్మీ అమ్మవారికి శ్రీ క్రోధినామ సంవత్సర మార్గశిర మాసోత్సవాలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహిస్తామని దేవాదాయ శాఖ డిప్యూటీ కమిషనర్ అండ్ దేవస్థానం కార్యనిర్వహణాధి కారిణి కె.శోభారాణి తెలిపారు. బుధవారం దేవస్థానం ఆవరణలోని అన్న ప్రసాద భవనంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ మార్గశిర మాసోత్సవాలను నవంబర్ 21వ తేదీ శుక్రవారం నుంచి, డిసెంబర్ 19వ తేదీ శుక్రవారం వరకు సాంప్రదాయ బద్ధంగా జరుపుతా మన్నారు. ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన ఏర్పాట్లన్నీ ఇప్పటికే పూర్తయ్యా యన్నారు. డిసెంబర్ 7వ తేదీ ఆదివారం సాయంత్రం ఆరున్నర గంటలకు వేద సభ అర్చక సదస్సును, డిసెంబర్ 13వ తేదీ శనివారం సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల నుంచి రథ యాత్ర, డిసెంబర్ 18వ తేదీ గురువారం మధ్యాహ్నం 12 గంటల నుంచి మహా అన్నదానం అదే రోజు సాయంత్రం 4 గంటలకు సహస్ర ఘటాభిషేకం తదితర వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు ఘనంగా జరుపుతా మన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాలకు వచ్చే భక్తుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని వారికి ఎటువంటి అసౌకర్యం కలగకుండా దానికి తగిన విధంగా అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లు చేశా మన్నారు. చలువ పందిళ్ళు వేయడంతో పాటుగా, భక్తులకు మంచి నీటి సదుపాయం కూడా కల్పిస్తున్నా మన్నారు. భక్తులు దేవస్థానం సిబ్బంది, మరియు వాలంటీర్లకు సహకరించి అమ్మవారి కృపకు పాత్రులు కావాలన్నారు. ఈ మీడియా సమావేశంలో విశాఖ జిల్లా సమాచార శాఖాధికారి సదారావు, జిల్లా సహాయ సమాచార అధికారి నారాయణ రావు, దేవస్థానం సహాయ కార్యనిర్వహణా ధికారి రాజేంద్ర కుమార్, దేవస్థానం పురోహితులు, సిబ్బంది తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
