Vizagvision Visakhapatnam: శంకర్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో కంటి దానంపై అవగాహన ర్యాలీ• కంటి దానం మహోన్నత సేవ – చీకటిలో ఉన్న జీవితాలకు వెలుగునిచ్చే గొప్ప కానుకవిశాఖపట్నం, సెప్టెంబర్ 5, 2026: కంటి దానం యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యతపై ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు శంకర్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఐ హాస్పిటల్, నాయుడుతోట ఆధ్వర్యంలో శనివారం అవగాహన ర్యాలీ నిర్వహించారు.ఆసుపత్రి ప్రాంగణం నుంచి ప్రారంభమైన ఈ ర్యాలీ ప్రహ్లాదపురం మీదుగా గోపాలపట్నం పెట్రోల్ బంక్ వరకు సాగి, తిరిగి ఆసుపత్రి ప్రాంగణానికి చేరుకుంది. ర్యాలీలో పాల్గొన్న వైద్యులు, సిబ్బంది, విద్యార్థులు “కంటి దానం చేయండి – మరొకరి జీవితంలో వెలుగు నింపండి” వంటి నినాదాలతో ప్రజలకు కంటి దానంపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.ఈ అవగాహన ర్యాలీని డాక్టర్ నస్రీన్, డైరెక్టర్ – మెడికల్ అడ్మినిస్ట్రేషన్ & ట్రైనింగ్ మరియు హెచ్ఓడీ – కార్నియా, జెండా ఊపి ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో డాక్టర్ యశస్విని, డాక్టర్ ప్రవళిక, డీఎన్బీ వైద్యులు, శ్రీ కె.వి. వేణుగోపాల్, శ్రీ ఎస్.కె.ఎల్. రావు, ఆసుపత్రి సిబ్బంది , కళాశాల అధ్యాపకులు మరియు విద్యార్థులు ఉత్సాహంగా పాల్గొన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా డాక్టర్ నస్రీన్ మాట్లాడుతూ, కంటి దానం ఒక మహోన్నతమైన మానవతా సేవ అని అన్నారు. కంటి దానం ద్వారా చీకటిలో జీవిస్తున్న వారికి వెలుగును, ఆశను అందించి వారి జీవితాల్లో కొత్త మార్పును తీసుకురావచ్చని తెలిపారు. “ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తమ కళ్లను దానం చేయడానికి ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేయడంతో పాటు, కంటి దానంపై తమ కుటుంబ సభ్యులు, స్నేహితులు మరియు సమాజంలో అవగాహన కల్పించాలి. మన మరణానంతరం కూడా మన కళ్ల ద్వారా మరొకరి జీవితంలో వెలుగు కొనసాగుతుంది” అని ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు.ఈ సందర్భంగా ర్యాలీలో ప్రధాన సందేశంగా:• “కళ్లను మరణానంతరం మాత్రమే దానం చేయగలం… కానీ మనం అందించే దృష్టి కానుక శాశ్వతంగా నిలిచిపోతుంది.” అనే సందేశాన్ని ప్రజలకు అందించారు.• కంటి దానం పట్ల ప్రజల్లో అవగాహన పెంపొందించడమే ఈ ర్యాలీ ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశమని శంకర్ ఫౌండేషన్ ప్రతినిధులు తెలిపారు. మరణానంతరం కళ్లను దానం చేయడం ద్వారా దృష్టి లోపంతో బాధపడుతున్న వారికి దృష్టిని అందించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని పేర్కొన్నారు.ఈ అవగాహన ర్యాలీకి అనుమతి మంజూరు చేసి, కార్యక్రమానికి సహకరించిన పోలీస్ శాఖకు హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు శంకర్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఆసుపత్రి డిప్యూటీ జనరల్ మేనేజర్ (పి. ఆర్ ) కె బంగార్రాజు తెలిపారు.ఫోటో క్యాప్షన్:శంకర్ ఫౌండేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించిన కంటి దాన అవగాహన ర్యాలీలో పాల్గొన్న వైద్యులు, సిబ్బంది మరియు విద్యార్థులు.

Vizagvision Visakhapatnam :పాస్ ఎన్ టైల్స్ దశాబ్ది వేడుకలు….పెద వాల్తేరులోని ‘పాస్ ఎన్ టైల్స్’ (Paws N Tails) ప్రీమియం పెట్ హాస్పిటల్ దశాబ్ది (2016-2026) వేడుకలను ఆసుపత్రి వ్యవస్థాపకులు, చీఫ్ వెటర్నరీ సర్జన్ *డాక్టర్ నెరళ్ల శ్రీధర్* మరియు వారి బృందం ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విశాఖపట్నం పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ *డాక్టర్ శంఖబ్రత బాగ్చీ*, ఐపీఎస్ ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేశారు. విశిష్ట అతిథులుగా ఆనంద్ (గుజరాత్) పీజీ స్టడీస్ డైరెక్టర్ *డాక్టర్ డి.బి. పాటిల్, పశుసంవర్ధక శాఖ జాయింట్ డైరెక్టర్ డాక్టర్ ఆర్. నీలయ్య*, డిప్యూటీ డైరెక్టర్ *డాక్టర్ ఎ. రవికుమార్* పాల్గొన్నారు.ముఖ్య అతిథి చేతుల మీదుగా ఆసుపత్రిలో నూతనంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అత్యాధునిక *’అల్ట్రాసౌండ్ మెషిన్’* ప్రారంభమైంది. ఇది ఆసుపత్రిలోని అధునాతన వ్యాధి నిర్ధారణ సౌకర్యాలను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయనుంది. అలాగే, ఆగస్టు 28, 29 తేదీల్లో కుక్కలు, పిల్లుల కోసం ఏర్పాటు చేసిన రెండు రోజుల *’పెట్ ఆప్తాల్మాలజీ క్యాంప్*(కంటి వైద్య) శిబిరాన్ని కూడా ప్రారంభించారు. మొదటి రోజు దాదాపు 20 పెంపుడు జంతువులను పరీక్షించి, వివిధ కంటి సమస్యలకు నిపుణులతో సంప్రదింపులు, చికిత్స సిఫార్సులను అందించారు.ఈ సందర్భంగా డాక్టర్ నెరళ్ల శ్రీధర్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. కేవలం 900 చదరపు అడుగుల చిన్న క్లినిక్‌గా ప్రారంభమైన పాస్ ఎన్ టైల్స్, నేడు 2,100 చదరపు అడుగుల ప్రీమియం పెట్ హాస్పిటల్‌గా ఎదిగిన అద్భుత ప్రయాణాన్ని గుర్తుచేసుకున్నారు. తమకు నిరంతరం మద్దతుగా నిలిచిన పెంపుడు జంతువుల యజమానులకు, సిబ్బందికి మరియు శ్రేయోభిలాషులకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ డాక్టర్ శంఖబ్రత బాగ్చీ మాట్లాడుతూ.. పాస్ ఎన్ టైల్స్ బృందం అంకితభావాన్ని అభినందించారు. జంతువులకు నాణ్యమైన ఆరోగ్య సేవలను అందించడానికి అన్ని వసతులు గల మల్టీస్పెషాలిటీ వెటర్నరీ ఆసుపత్రుల అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉందని ఆయన నొక్కిచెప్పారు. జంతు సంక్షేమం కోసం వారు చేస్తున్న కృషిని కొనియాడారు.ఈ వేడుకల్లో భాగంగా, మూగజీవాలకు అలసట లేకుండా సేవలు అందిస్తున్న రెండు జంతు సంక్షేమ స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలను (NGOs) ఘనంగా సత్కరించారు.ఈ దశాబ్ది వేడుకలు ఆగస్టు 29 సాయంత్రం 4:00 గంటలకు కూడా కొనసాగనున్నాయి. హోటల్ రాక్‌డేల్‌లో జరిగే కార్యక్రమంలో డాక్టర్ డి.బి. పాటిల్ “కుక్కలు మరియు పిల్లుల వెటర్నరీ వైద్యంలో ఆధునిక పోకడలు” అనే అంశంపై ప్రత్యేక ప్రసంగం చేయనున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి సుమారు 80 మంది పెంపుడు జంతువుల యజమానులు హాజరవుతారని నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు.
