Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, Visakhapatnam Division and President, SCoRSA, was the Chief Guest, while Smt. Jyotsna Bohra, President, SCoRWWO, Visakhapatnam, was the Guest of Honour.Senior railway officers, including Shri E. Santharam, ADRM( Infra), Shri K. Rama Rao, ADRM(OP), Shri K. Pavan Kumar, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager and Shri M. Haranadh, Sr. Divisional Finance Manager attended the inaugural ceremony and extended their best wishes to the participating sportspersons.The championship, being held from 7th to 10th October 2026, brings together talented men and women boxers from different Railway units across the country. The event provides a prestigious platform for Railway sportspersons to showcase their boxing skills, competitive spirit and sporting excellence.Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries wished all the participants success and emphasised the importance of sports in promoting fitness, discipline, teamwork and excellence among Railway employees.The championship is being hosted by the South Coast Railway Sports Association, Visakhapatnam Division.
