-దేశంలోని అన్ని అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ లకు నోడల్ కేంద్రంగా ఏయూ అంబేద్కర్ చైర్…ఆంధ్ర విశ్వవిద్యాలయం శతాబ్ది ఉత్సవాలు వేడుక వేడుక జరుపుకుంటున్న వేళ ఈ ప్రత్యేక సంవత్సరంలో ఏయులోని డాక్టర్ బీ ఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ ఛైర్ ప్రతిభా పాటవాలతో దేశంలోని అత్యుత్తమ అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ గా తన ప్రత్యేకతను నిలుపుకుంటుంది. అనేక అవార్డులు, ఆవిష్కరణలు, పరిశోధనలతో కొనసాగుతున్న అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ ప్రగతి ప్రస్థానం ఏయూ శతాబ్దోత్సవ వేడుకలు సందర్భంగా ప్రముఖులు ప్రస్తావించారు. దేశంలోని నూతనంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన మూడు అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ లతో పాటు మొత్తం 28 అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ లు ఉండగా వీటన్నిటికీ నోడల్ కేంద్రంగా ఏయూ అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ నువ్వు ఎంపిక చేయడం దీని అభివృద్ధికి ప్రత్యేక గుర్తింపుగా చెప్పుకోవచ్చు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటుచేసిన సదస్సులో అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ మేకా జేమ్స్ స్టీఫెన్ మాట్లాడుతూ
2016లో చైర్ స్థాపన జరిగిందన్నారు. 2021-22లో సవరణ పథకం కింద ఇది మరింత బలోపేతం చేయబడిందని, 22 ఏప్రిల్ 2022న డాక్టర్ అంబేడ్కర్ పౌండేషన్ మరియు ఆంధ్ర విశ్వవిద్యాలయం మధ్య జాతీయ స్థాయి ఒప్పందం కుదిరిందని, అప్పటినుంచి వినూత్న కార్యక్రమాలతో మరింత విస్తరిస్తుస్తోందన్నారు. “డిజిటల్ ఇండియా, మానవ అభివృద్ధి, అంతరశాఖ ఆలోచనలు అంబేద్కర్”
అనేది అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ లక్ష్యమన్నారు. ఇది సామాజిక న్యాయాన్ని ఆధునిక జ్ఞాన వ్యవస్థలతో కలపడం లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకొని ముందుకు సాగుతోందన్నారు.తాను 24 నవంబర్ 2022న ఛైర్ ప్రొఫెసర్ గా బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించి అకడమిక్ మరియు పరిపాలనా నాయకత్వాన్ని వహిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. పరిశోధన, సహకారాలు, అకడమిక్ కార్యక్రమాలు, వనరుల నిర్వహణ వంటి విభాగాల్లో ఛైర్ అభివృద్ధి చెందిందని, సంబంధిత వ్యవస్థలో ఎంతో నమ్మకాన్ని నింపిందన్నారు. ఈ ఛైర్ సామర్థ్యాన్ని డాక్టర్ అంబేద్కర్ ఫౌండేషన్ మరియు భారత ప్రభుత్వ సామాజిక న్యాయం మరియు సాధికారతను మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ గుర్తించిందని, ముఖ్యంగా, దేశవ్యాప్తంగా గల అన్ని డాక్టర్ అంబేద్కర్ చైర్ కోసం రూపొందించిన నేషనల్ పోర్టల్ కి ఈ చైర్ జాతీయ నోడల్ కేంద్రంగా గుర్తించారని తెలిపారు. ఐదేళ్ల పాటు నోడల్ అధికారిగా తనను నియమించినట్లు చెప్పారు. పరిశోధన మరియు ఆవిష్కరణలు విషయానికొస్తే ఉద్దానం ప్రాంతంలో దీర్ఘకాలిక మూత్రపిండ వ్యాధి (సీ కే డీ) పై క్షేత్ర పరిశోధనలు నిర్వహించామని,
ముందస్తు గుర్తింపునకు కృత్రిమమేధ, ఎమ్ఎల్ మోడళ్లను అభివృద్ధి చేశామన్నారు.గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల కోసం కృత్రిమమేధ ఆధారిత డిజిటల్ లిటరసీ ప్లాట్ఫాం రూపొందించామని,
అగ్రిఐ’ అనే స్మార్ట్ పెస్ట్ మేనేజ్మెంట్ పరికరాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేసి ప్రారంభించామన్నారు.సుస్థిర అభివృద్ధి లక్ష్యాలు (ఎస్టిజి) స్థానికీకరణపై ఫీల్డ్ డేటాతో అధ్యయనాలు చేపట్టామన్నారు. ఐదు గ్రామాలను దీర్ఘకాలిక పరిశోధన కోసం దత్తత తీసుకున్నామన్నారు. 25కి పైగా పేటెంట్లు దాఖలు చేశామని, దక్షిణాఫ్రికా నుంచి రెండు అంతర్జాతీయ గ్రాంట్లు సాధించమని, భారత్ 8 డిజైన్ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్లు బ్రిటన్ 5-ఇండియా – 3 పొందామని చెప్పారు. 15కి పైగా స్కోపస్ జర్నల్స్ లో పరిశోధనా పత్రాలు ప్రచురించామన్నారు.
ఐదు పుస్తకాలు రచించి, ఐదు సంపుటాలు ప్రచురించామన్నారు.
2022 నుంచి ఇప్పటివరకు 75 పైగా వివిధ కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించినట్లు చెప్పారు.గ్లోబల్ రీసెర్చ్ ఎక్సలెన్స్ అవార్డు (పోలాండ్ 2025), యూనివర్సల్ ఐకాన్ అచీవర్ అవార్డు (2024), ప్రొఫైల్ ఇన్వెంటర్ అవార్డు (మొదటి బహుమతి 2024) తదితర ప్రతిష్టాత్మక అవార్డులు సొంతం చేసుకున్నట్టు చెప్పారు.
