Vizag Vision Visakhapatnam:

Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS, visited Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam from 10 – 12 May 26.

During the visit, the CNS reviewed operational, training & administrative activities of the Command, and also undertook a day at sea to review operational aspects of the Eastern Fleet. He interacted with officers and sailors, commending their professionalism and dedication towards safeguarding national maritime interests.

As part of the visit, CNS also engaged with Naval personnel and Defence Civilians during a “Fireside Chat” at Samudrika Auditorium, fostering candid discussions and constructive exchange of ideas towards enhancing operational effectiveness, welfare and motivation.

The visit reaffirmed the #IndianNavy’s steadfast focus on operational readiness, personnel welfare and greater connect with all ranks.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitmentto further deepening bilateral defence ties based on mutual trust, shared interests, and a commoన vision for a secure, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.The SCMC serves as the principal military-to-military consultative mechanism between the two countries and is the precursor to the India-Malaysia Defence Cooperation Meeting held at thelevel of Defence Secretary. The meeting reviewed the progress made since the last SCMC and expressed confidence that the outcomes would provide a strong foundation for productive deliberations at the forthcoming India-Malaysia Defence Cooperation Meetin
