GM, South Coast Railway Conducts Intensive Inspection of Tirupati–Guntakal Section Sandeep Mathur, General Manager, South Coast Railway (SCoR), conducted an intensive inspection of major raiwlay stations in Guntakal Division including Tirupati Railway Station and the Tirupati–Guntakal section today. This marks his first inspection of the section following the formation of the new South Coast Railway Zone, aimed at reviewing infrastructure development, passenger amenities, and ongoing projects across the Zone.At Tirupati Railway Station, the General Manager reviewed the progress of the Station Redevelopment Project and inspected various passenger amenity and infrastructure works, including the circulating area, lifts, escalators, platforms, concourse, and other facilities. He interacted with construction officials and emphasized the importance of timely execution while maintaining high quality standards. Guntakal Division made a detailed presentation highlighting the status of ongoing projects, developmental activities, operational achievements, and future plans in the division.As part of the inspection, Shri Sandeep Mathur visited Razampeta Railway Station and reviewed developmental works in the circulating area, waiting hall, parking area, and other passenger facilities. At Kadapa Railway Station, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of the circulating area, platforms, and passenger amenities, with special focus on the progress of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme works. He assessed the quality of execution and reviewed ongoing infrastructure development activities, directing officials to ensure quality and timely completion of all projects.General Manager also carried out a window trailing inspection from Tadipatri to Gooty to assess track conditions, safety aspects, and ongoing works in the section. At Gooty, he inspected the yard remodelling works and advised officials to expedite completion. He further continued the inspection of railway infrastructure between Gooty and Guntakal through window trailing inspection.
