Marking this momentous occasion, General Manager, South Coast Railway, Shri Sandeep Mathur, extended a warm welcome to officers and staff joining the new zone.Shri Sandeep Mathur, GM, stated that the formation of South Coast Railway aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency, strengthening operational effectiveness, and improving passenger and freight services. He emphasized that the new zone would play a pivotal role in accelerating infrastructure growth and fostering economic development across the region.During the meeting, the System Map of South Coast Railway was formally unveiled, showcasing the jurisdiction and network of the newly created zone. He stated that creating of a new zone is a rare event in history of Indian Railways. It signifies not only administrative restructuring but also a renewed commitment to efficiency, development and enhanced service delivery.Underscoring the paramount importance of railway safety, General Manager convened a comprehensive Safety Review Meeting, making it clear that safety would remain the foremost priority of the new zone. Shri Sandeep Mathur stressed that while operational performance and infrastructure development are essential, safety must continue to be the guiding principle in every aspect of railway functioning.Divisional Railway Managers gave presentation on the Divisions that are integrating with the new Zone, elaborate discussions on asset management, human resource management, challenges to be addressed and resolved etc were highlighted in the meeting.The Safety Review Meeting was attended by the Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, Visakhapatnam Division; Shri Mohit Sonakiya, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division; Smt Sudeshna Sen, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur Division; Shri Chandra Shekhar Gupta Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division, along with Principal Heads of Departments (PHODs) and senior officers from various branches. Detailed discussions were held on operational safety, infrastructure maintenance, safety audits, accident prevention measures, crew counseling, inspection drives, and strengthening of safety practices across the zone. General Manager directed all departments to work in close coordination and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols to achieve the highest standards of safe train operations.Shri Sandeep Mathur expressed confidence that the collective efforts of officers and staff, Team Work, would enable South Coast Railway to emerge as one of the most efficient and progressive railway zones in the country. He called upon all employees to work with dedication, teamwork, and a shared commitment towards delivering safe, reliable, and customer-friendly railway services.The operationalization of South Coast Railway marks the beginning of a transformative journey for rail transportation, paving the way for enhanced connectivity, improved services, and sustained development.

Vizagvision :INDIAN NAVY SET TO COMMISSION SECOND INDIGENOUS DIVING SUPPORT VESSEL ‘ _NIPUN_’The Indian Navy is set to commission _Nipun_ , the second Diving Support Vessel (DSV) of the Nistar-Class, on 31 Aug 2026 at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai. The induction of the specialised vessel will mark an important addition to the Navy’s deep-sea diving and underwater support capabilities and herald the beginning of a new chapter in the ship’s journey from construction to operational service. It will also augment the Indian Navy’s capability to support submarine rescue operations.The ship incorporates modern systems for navigation, platform management and precise station keeping, complemented by specialised facilities for diving, underwater intervention and medical support. These capabilities enable _Nipun_ to function as an integrated platform for complex operations beneath the surface.The forthcoming commissioning of _Nipun_ will further strengthen the Indian Navy’s ability to undertake specialised diving and underwater missions across India’s maritime areas of interest. The induction of this indigenously built platform also reflects the growing capability of the country’s shipbuilding ecosystem to deliver technologically advanced and specialised vessels in support of the Navy’s operational requirements.*About the Crest*The crest embodies the ship’s primary role as a Diving Support Vessel and symbolises the courage, endurance and professional excellence associated with deep-sea diving.The whale, renowned for its ability to dive to great depths and remain submerged for extended durations, signifies endurance, longevity and sustained operations in the depths of the ocean. It aptly represents the ship’s capability to support prolonged diving operations in the challenging deep-sea environment.The modern diving helmet represents the diver at the core of the ship’s mission and signifies the advanced diving systems and life-support capabilities provided by the vessel. It reflects the ship’s role in enabling divers to operate safely and effectively at great depths.Together, the whale and the diving helmet portray Nipun as a platform dedicated to taking the diver into the depths, sustaining him there, and bringing him back safely, while exemplifying the ship’s ethos of skill, endurance and professionalism.

Vizagvision Visakhapatnam:విశాఖలో ముగిసిన విద్యాభారతి అఖిలభారత సెకండరీ స్థాయి కార్యశాల – అఖిల భారతీయ శిక్షా సంస్థాన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో మూడు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన సెకండరీ స్థాయి విద్యాపరిషత్ అఖిలభారత కార్యశాల విజయవంతంగా ముగిసింది. ఆగస్టు 23, 24, 25 తేదీలలో నగరంలోని విశాలాక్షీనగర్ B.V.K కళాశాలలో ఈ కార్యశాల జరిగింది.ఈ కార్యశాలలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 55 మంది ప్రాంత, క్షేత్ర ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్నారు.విద్యాభారతి అఖిలభారత సంఘటనా కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ గోవింద్ చంద్ర మహంత, ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ దేశ్ రాజ్ శర్మ, సహ సంఘటనా కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ శ్రీరామ్ ఆరావ్ కార్ పాల్గొని సెకండరీ ఇంచార్జ్ లకు దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.ఈ సందర్భంగా NEP అమలు, కౌశల్ వికాస్ తరగతుల ప్రారంభం, ఉన్నత ప్రమాణాలతో కూడిన విద్య, విద్యారంగ సవాళ్లు-పరిష్కారాలు, విద్యార్థులలో కమ్యూనికేటివ్ స్కిల్స్ అభివృద్ధి వంటి అంశాలపై విస్తృతంగా చర్చించారు.ఈ కార్యశాల సెకండరీ స్థాయి అఖిలభారత ప్రముఖ్ శ్రీ రాజీవ్ గుప్తా ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరిగింది. ప్రారంభ కార్యక్రమంలో దక్షిణ మధ్య క్షేత్ర ఉపాధ్యక్షులు ఆచార్య శ్రీ గొల్లపల్లి నాగేశ్వరరావు, ముగింపు కార్యక్రమంలో ఏపీ సంఘటనా కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ కన్నా భాస్కర్, ప్రాంత కార్యకారిణి సభ్యురాలు శ్రీమతి బి. ధరణిప్రియ పాల్గొన్నారు.
