Vizag Vision Rayagada:DRM INSPECTS RAYAGADA DIVISIONAL CONTROL OFFICE AND SECTIONDivisional Railway Manager (DRM), Waltair Division, Shri Lalit Bohra, accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager, Rayagada Division, Shri Amitabh Singhal, along with senior railway officials, conducted a comprehensive inspection of Rayagada Control Office today, 26th May 2026. The inspection primarily focused on reviewing the progress of Control office operation , which is considered nerve centre of railway operations of any division.During the inspection, the DRMs reviewed progress of temporary setup of the Rayagada Control Office comprising Operations, Engineering, Carriage & Wagon, Security, Crew Management and other functional departments. The DRMs interacted with railway control staff and reviewed the readiness of various facilities.Before that , DRM Shri Lalit Bohra undertook a window trailing inspection from Visakhapatnam to Vizianagaram to assess the progress of infrastructure development works, safety installations, and passenger amenity projects along the section. During the inspection, he reviewed signalling systems, points and crossings, yard arrangements, track curves, and ongoing new railway line works in consultation with senior officials concerned.The inspection was aimed at ensuring the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and infrastructure development to facilitate smooth and efficient railway operations.
